We just had a lovely mid-week meal at the RSA Birkenhead. Fettuccine, steak and chips and the burger and chips. All tasted delicious and great value for money. It's a humble environment but it's the food and the down to earth, friendly vibe that makes this a great place to grab a feed! .
I hadn't been to the main RSA facility for a function. I went to a life celebration of a deceased friend, and it was a great venue. After the celebration a band was arriving and setting up for the night. I'm told that Saturday nights are well patronised. I concluded that our local RSA is a great venue to have on our doorstep.
Really disappointed with this RSA. When we arrived, the front desk said nothing as we signed in most RSAs allow visitors, but we were later told to leave in front of everyone because we hadn’t been signed in by a member. The same staff member was unnecessarily rude.nnSadly many RSAs are struggling, and experiences like this don’t help.nnOn a positive note, the Birkenhead Bowls Club is a far more welcoming place.
Real good vibe in this place.nNice folks and everyone is kind.nPool, snooker and darts for starters.nThen there's the restaurant downstairs that gives these awesome folks a nice dinner for a reasonable price.nCome along and support birkenhead RSA.nThink a years membership is around $60.nYou can save that in the first week from cheap pool, darts AND beer
The RSA was welcoming to our group and is a facility that is able to host large groups.nThe food and associated service was good and the menu had a range of options.nThe staff are friendly and helpful.nThanks for the hospitality RSA!!
