By far the best Doctors surgery in Timaru..!nThrough covid the doctor or nurse rang every single day to see how my son and I were doing and spoke with us both.nThey also asked if we needed any supplies getting.nI can honestly say I dont think I would have got through it without them, as I got it really badly and it made you feel abit brighter knowing someone cared for you.nThis has been my doctors for 24 years now and also my teenage son's.nDr.Shrimpton really listens to you and takes his time to understand, not like some doctors who just want to shove drugs down you and get you out the door.nDr.Shrimpton, the nurses and reception ladies have been nothing but kind, caring and extremely helpful to myself and my boys for all these years.nI'm so truly grateful for their help and support with any concerns or illnesses we have had.nThank you very much Birchwood Surgery Team
Doctor needs to listen more. Talk less. And actually read their patients file before making judgements and rude comments about history of medication that is needed in order to function every day. Mental health isn't a joke. Chronic back pain isn't a joke neither. Think before you speak. They pay money for your time And to be taken seriously. Thanks.
I found them to be very professional in every way from appointment to the consult with the doctor very happy with the treatment and service
Not a very welcoming place. The doc is quite rude and on a high horse. Doesn’t listened nor read the patient files beforehand.
Surprised by these reviews, this is the first doctor to take our mental health seriously. Dr Shrimpton has been absolutely amazing and very attentive.
