Lavender is beautiful, fragrant, bee friendly - and full of healing powers

Lavender has been used for thousands of years – as a healer of war wounds, as a perfume and aphrodisiac, to ward off disease and insects, treat headaches and hysteria, embalm corpses, clean homes and for flavoring food.

Massage has been around for thousands of years and developed independently in many different cultures and countries all over the world to help with the healing process.

There are psychological as well as physiological benefits.


Here are just a few:
Massage relaxes the mind, soothes and comforts, lifts up emotions and increases positive feelings.
We are mostly feeling refreshed and rejuvenated after a treatment!

Several systems of the body benefit directly from a massage:

Skin: Improves skin color, tone and texture, more elasticity.

Muscular System: releases muscle tension, helps breaking down accumulated lactic acid and removes toxins.

Circulatory System: improves and speeds up movement of blood in veins and arteries, oxygen and nutrients are supplied more quickly while waste removal happens faster too.

Lymphatic System: supports removing waste products quicker and therefore boosts immunity, reduces swelling caused by too much fluid in cells, reduces cellulite.

Nervous System: Depending on the massage technique, can sooth or stimulate the system.

Massage helps as well to reduce stiffness and immobility around joints, improves efficiency of respiratory system, promotes a better digestion of food, encourages urine production and excretion and thereby waste/toxin removal… The list goes on.
