Absolutely loved camping here. Really friendly couple who run the place. Wife and I had an awesome time. Looking forward to coming back again. Best time is in the new year after the mad rush if you want a more relaxing time. Highly recommend Big Bay Holiday Park for sure
Holiday was great, volleyball game, swimming, fishing, park, beach & fishing chips recycling available $1shower. Quite country life style. Pizza oven, BBQ & kitchen it's a camp ground take your own pots, dish's & clean utensils if u have tent site's like use. Awesome host Ian & Helen will go back again
Facilities here are tired, lovely people around but the Auckland council campsites south of Big Bay have much nicer facilities.
Got some ice-cream here. Great position
Place is run down, bathrooms bad and you have to pay for hotwarter, grass clippings everywhere, not a good experience for me......
Really friendly people who run the camp amazing fish&chips and if you like a mean burger I would totally recommend that you try there BIG BAY BURGER you will not be disappointed
Very basic hasn't changed much since the 70s. A classic kiwi motor camp stuck in a time warp. Owner is ultra helpful. Pizza oven. Right across from the beach.
That great sewerage system stinks out the houses on the hill above this camp.
Awesome place to stay with friendly staff. Across the from the beach and lookout. Thanks for great service.
