Nice customer service. Bidz Takeaways in Ahipara is a hidden gem for seafood lovers. Worst fish and chips we have had in ages. Open packets to find over cooked chips, fish all broken up and items missing including extra chips we ordered and extra small mussels. Soaking in oil from not being drained properly. When we enquired the cashier said the pack doesn't come with some of the missing items. Clearly written on sign they are included. When asked again she said we have none that's why you didn't get them and walked away. Spoke to an older lady there who I must say was more then accommodating considering she was dealing with very upset customers. Ended up finding out missing potato fritters. They had been put in my fish burger only burger ordered in place of a piece of fish. $140 and couldn't even feed 4 adults and 3 under 3s. Will never go back there after the service and food we received from 2 out of the 3 workers. Total waste of money

We're from Canada, doing the Te Araroa Trail and got some Snapper and Chips. It was so fresh and good. Not too greasy, it was perfect
Tastes ok nothing special about it but very pricey for a few scoops of chips a few bits of fish which cost 9$ a piece paper thin and the size of my hand and two hotdogs your looking at 80$ something in my opinion should be 25-30 max daylight robbery
