I visited the Bharatiya Mandir in Auckland and felt a unique energy and special vibes. This Hindu temple truly offers a spiritual and uplifting experience.
The first Hindu temple in New Zealand. Very well maintained. Every Tuesday after Sunderkhand path, there is prasadam for everyone. Free parking lot and street parking as well.nThey offer wide variety of services including that of Pooja, havan, balvikas, dance classes, language classes, Martha classes etc.
It's a wonderful temple, but the way the management responds to people taking more prasad than they can consume feels a bit excessive. While I completely agree that wasting prasad is not ideal, making a big fuss about it seems unwarranted. There are definitely more creative approaches to address these situations.
