Can't find a fault for our time here. Came up with two kids and it was so relaxing to sit in the sun and watch them play in the sand. The location is incredible, it's so peaceful and only an hour away from Auckland means we can jump in the car and feel like we are truely on holiday. What a find.
This motel is everything it promises to be! I visited with a partially mobile senior. The room the staff booked for me was perfect, complete with a little ramp into the garden and a disabled-friendly bathroom.nnThe rooms are nicely equipped for a short stay, impeccably clean and very airy. The deck had a lovely view of the sea and a good deal of shade. As a bonus, it's a short and simple drive to the shops, too, so resupplying was not a problem.
What a find; such a gem. We had Unit 4 and it was perfect for us an older couple needing 1x night accommodation whilst we visited friends in Snells Beach as well as Martins Bay. The location bay front with a view of Kawau Bay was perfect. Our unit was very nice & comfortable, recently updated; & had everything we needed. We would book again.
A great little spot!! The owners were really kind and welcoming. Such a nice place to get away. We pitched our tent up on site 11 and we had an amazing view of the sea. The facilities were great, there were even kayaks to borrow. Definitely somewhere I would stay again!
This place was something I had high expectations for before I went, thanks to the host's friendly email. Upon arrival, the beautiful view and facilities for children to enjoy made it a perfect vacation. This is a place I highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a vacation in a quiet place!
