BestStart is amazing! First line of contact or visual is Reception and I’ll tell you what. Ceri is such a lovely & understanding receptionist! She makes coming into centre a lovely experience. Even when you have to call to confirm absence. She just makes you feel welcomed and appreciated.nnThe classes & teachers are great too! They all treat the kids well & listen to your requests or concerns. It’s great. Super happy to have found a bunch of amazing staff who do actually care for the kids.nnThe classes are always clean. If not clean the teachers and kids are in the middle of cleaning or tidying up. I’ve got both my young ones in & they are thriving! The Harakeke room is the best first classroom to start your little ones experience. They have a great outdoors area that’s closed off area and great for the babies to explore.nnHighly recommend the Waitangirua Centre.
Family oriented, safe learning space for everyone especially our children, always feel a sense of inclusivity when I bring my children in. ALWAYS helpful & supportive through not just our children’s learning but us the parents no matter what the situation may be, they’re always working around our schedule & always finding ways they can be of service to best support both us the parents and our dear children. 100% would recommend BestStart Waitangirua to anyone local or just settling in, wanting to find a safe space for their children/family for their first years. ALWAYS keeping us updated on our children’s learning & development through the school app ect. Super grateful & thankful for the team at BestStart Waitangirua
My son has been here for just under 2yrs and he loves it . The place is always warm & welcoming . The staff are friendly & helpful . The facilities and play areas for the different age groups are awesome . I’m so glad I chose this daycare for my son I can’t fault anything they do
The Waitangirua Community Kindy has been fantastic in transitioning my boy from home life to day care. All of the teachers are kind, caring and have made such a strong bond with my son that I wonder why I was ever apprehensive about putting him into day care in the first place. He really enjoys his time and I appreciate the constant updates on how he is learning and growing. My husband and I have made great relationships with the teachers and we are confident that we couldnt have chosen a better family to help us raise our son and future children. Thank you!
Worst experience ever. My little one started getting sick and wouldn't stop. He would fall ill every second week. Unhygienic daycare as well. Some of the carers have milk and biscuits themselves and limit the little ones for seconds or thirds. I would receive numerous complaints about my child during the day but he was only 2 years old. I have changed day cares and since then I have no issues or complaints ever since. My child doesn't get sick anymore as well, much cleaner. I would give one star if it wasn't for the price
