Berkley Normal Middle School

I attended this intermediate for year 8 only. I would have stayed for year 9, however I choose to go to Hillcrest high.nnBerkley was a great school to attend. The teachers I had were good. The school house competitions were fun as well as the one year house performance, once a year Activites, were you choose an activity to attend for a week, I chose horse riding. Classes I enjoyed were food, music and material or wood/metal class.nnMy main class I felt I excelled in learning and did things that were out of my comfort zone, however I did have supportive peers and teacher.nnThere was a great connection with other classrooms and students back then, when the Olympics were live in the morning before role we could be in other classrooms with friends from that class and their teacher watching the live stream.nnThe year went by fast and I made a lot of friends from different cultural and socio backgrounds, the memories I have of attending Berkley are one of the best school years I had.nnI am 29 years old now and have quite good memories from Berkley. I hope for my daughter to attend when she is old enough, if Berkley is as I remember it to be.

This isn’t a bad school but some teachers were quite rude. Sometimes they were really bias and didn’t learn too much from them. Some students were often rude and mean. But it’s just like any other school.. Do miss the school a bit though.

The school values around holding people accountable for stolen property which was inhold of the class teachers is pointless. Im not letting this go without a fight. No updates as requested, no putting it in the newsletter like they mentioned they did.
