My husband & I have been using James Fitness for many years. James & his team have excellent knowledge and have used this to help us keep training around multiple injuries, we’ve had over the years. Now we bring our teenage children to the the various classes & we all really enjoy this. The small group sessions means everyone is really friendly, there is much fun to be had & a good mixture of classes/gym sessions available. I would recommend James Fitness to anyone who is interested in getting fitter and stronger. It’s been fantastic for my family & new friends made
I hadn't been to a gym in over 20 years. I started with James and the team in August. I was made to feel comfortable instantly. The one to one treatment you get here is second to none. Great range of equipment and plenty of classes to suit all lifestyles. It really is the gym for people who hate the gym. The support you get from the whole team is awesome. I highly recommend
I cannot recommend this gym enough I had been coming to James for a while but then had a accident which led to me housebound for 3mths James checked in weekly to see how I was doing ,when I was able to start Physiotherapy after only 3 sessions they told me there was nothing they could do with me,I spoke to James about this and he sorted out a plan for me to come in & do twice a week that was 8 weeks ago and I’m now back at work,walking and feeling like myself again . Anyone thinking of coming please do James & his team are amazing x
I hadn't been to a gym in years and wouldn't have know where to start but James and the team talk you through everything and even adapt anything you cant do. There are classes and gym sessions and everyone works at their own level. I especially like the small classes. Everyone is very friendly if you want to jump start your fitness would highly recommend
I joined James Fitness in April and it's the best thing I have ever done! I've joined countless gyms in the past but never enjoyed any of them and always felt intimidated. At James Fitness everyone is so friendly and supportive and the encouragement you get is brilliant. I even look forward to going now and hate it when I have to miss a class. They are also great at giving nutritional advice without being condescending. All round fab service.
I’m not your typical gym person, but my husband convinced me to join James Fitness after he had been training with him for over a year and getting great results. I have really enjoyed each session I have done. James, India and Tom have encouraged me, knowing that I am capable of so much more than I think I am. The trainers and other members have all been so friendly and welcoming that I needn’t have been nervous about joining. The continued nutritional support is really helping too! I don’t feel that once my session is over, I am out the door and forgotten about just like a lot of bigger gyms, but James makes sure we keep in touch and by doing so make better choices. In just one week I have noticed differences in how I feel, both physically and mentally. I only wish I’d joined sooner.
I have been going to James fitness for about 18 months now. It’s great, I’ve never felt so comfortable in a gym environment. I love every class I go to and leave on a high. It’s so friendly and the fitness and nutritional advice is invaluable. I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants small group or personal training. Give it a go, you won’t regret it!
I joined James Fitness 8mths ago to improve my strength for running. I love my class and look forward to it every week. It's varied so you never get bored , everyone is friendly and helps out. James explains everything & adapts exercises if needed. The online support and advice is excellent from exercises, nutrition, alternatives ideas. All members are like a family helping & encouraging . Highly recommended you won't be disappointed.
I've been with James Fitness for a short time, however I have noticed changes within myself both physically & mentally. James and the team are amazing, highly positive, motivated and full of so much knowledge. They go that extra mile everytime, nothing is never a problem. I signed up for Shape Up for Summer. I am really enjoying the experience. The classes never exceed 8 in number and the instructors are always attentive and helpful. I don't feel intimidated going into the gym. You work hard, but it's worth it, I have lost weight and have more energy already. You are given nutritional support and advice, and James is always very prompt to respond to any questions you may have whether during the session or away from the gym.
