The Dunedin Railway Station is a wonderful example of early 20th century architecture. Inside the mosaic tiled floor is also something to marvel. There is also a wonderfully restored steam locomotive on display under cover adjacent to the railway station.
Great place.. architectural wonder. Must visit when in Dunedin
Beautiful train station close to the city centre. It is located right next to a small museum. Very well maintained front yard is great for photo. The historic building is also very well maintained, the painted glass window is beautiful. There's a sports museum inside the train station, located on the upper level.
The building is so beautiful, not sure why it was closed tho.
Magnificent Architecture with a lot of detail. Well maintained front gardens is an additional beauty to the already impressive railway station. The art display on the top floor is fantastic. No wonder it is the most photographed building in the Southern Hemisphere.
Confusing about whether passenger trains run from here not. Beautifully restored and maintained railway station. Please get the Tiare gorge railway trip going again soon.
Just loved it all the ride the scenery and the service...great way to relax
Small but there is a sports and art museum here too. We got there to late and it was closed.
