We went as a group of six for my nephew’s 15th birthday. It was quite loud and difficult to talk to each other at the table. The best food we had was the sweet potato fries. The burgers while tasty were very small for the price. They had no A&W root beer, and the waitress spilled my beer on me. Not a great start. They seem busy but I wouldn’t return.
This new place has a really nice atmosphere. Cocktail menu is small but they are really well done. Not many main dishes type of options, only burgers - passion fruit martini is great! I went with a group of 4 and the restaurant appeared fully booked. Drinks came fast but unfortunately our all food took over an hour to arrive which was disappointing. We were not told it would be such a wait. When the food finally did arrive it was all good and tasty. But not worth an hour wait. The staff where all lovely but seems a bit stressed and unorganised. I would come back but maybe late or early dinner not busy time.
If you’re looking for your North American fix, this is the place to go! From delicious wings and burgers to poutine and maple-flavoured everything, this place has it! Really good price for solid food. It’s a bit heavy but it’s North American food!! What were you expecting!?? Come and getcha some and recommend it to a friend! —A Happy American Highly recommend the wings, fried cauliflower, and mac n cheese!
First impressions: Cocktails were well made and the service was great - our waitress was so lovely! Music was a bit loud, making it difficult to converse at times but we didn’t bring this to the staff’s attention. The menu is compact which suits me well, as too many options can make it hard to decide on what to order. Love that sour beer was on the menu too : I found the pricing to be reasonable but was somewhat disappointed with the wings a little dry and not enough buffalo sauce I would def come back here! Finally visited this spot I've been hearing such great things about and it did not disappoint. The photos speak for itself but we ordered, Fried Cauliflower - incredibly tasty, couldnt replicate this at home if i tried! The burgers are very flavourful- smashed patty's with a tonne of pickles at my request and a very generous helping of american sliced cheese! Poutine is obviously a staple here, and you're spoilt for choice from Newfie to bacon to original. Cocktails were a huge highlight- the Canadian is an excellent sweet option and the Old Fashioned is incredible- the perfect amount of sweet maple and bitters - I had x4! Whether you're a local or you're driving through, this is a must stop destination!
Amazing restaurant! Very simple, but incredibly tasty meals burgers, chicken wings, poutine- chips with gravy and cheese, with optional ad-ons. The burger patties are often bigger than the bun! Great for ordering individually or sharing as a group. The cocktails are really good too and I love the weekly specials sometimes it's a new cocktail, sometimes a meal. Absolutely worth a try! We just keep coming back for more!
I drive from another district to get to my favourite takeaways now also dine in, my only problem is not fitting it all in! The poutine is , the wings and oh those smores! I need to try those burgers! The friendliest of staff, with the hardest working owners. I can't imagine how the past 2 years have been for y'all but you made it, which shows how great you are!

First time trying Beaver and Bear and everything about this place is amazing. The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were strong and good! The maple butter on the Cobb loaf is to die for. Our server was so friendly and she was laid back, I forgot to get her name but she is a definite asset to the company. We will be back again!
Congratulations on the recent article. I love that you have kept where you get your cheese curds from a secret. One thing I love about eating out, is being able to have food I can't make at home better myself. Your team, serves up delicious food and I highly recommend everyone to check your place out P.S your mulled wine was goooood too!!
