Great bar, great music, great drinks. Hard to find a better deal than here. The audio quality was fantastic, all the bands sounds clear and not overbearing like other similar places. Definitely go see a show here, even if you don’t know them! You’ll either leave loving the band, the bar, or both.
Awesome venue, and the bar is dope too! Went in to catch Demo Division and check out the opening acts, which they were all KILLER Excellent customer service from the gentleman behind the bar and the other bartenders! A good selection of drinks at great prices, and although I didn't get a chance to try the food, it looked great from what I saw at people's tables. Definitely will come again!
I enjoyed their outdoor seating, and my server was out often to check on me. I had the Stagehand Burger, a BBQ bacon cheeseburger. It was cooked well, tasty BBQ sauce, and the fries were perfect. I also caught a live performance by some bands including Rematch. The staff were all helpful and polite.Food: 4/5
I always have a great time seeing a show at this bar. I was there last weekend, and every part of the experience was great. The staff, the sound, reasonably priced drinks for Chicago, and they love music as much as their patrons do.
We came here for brunch while they were playing live music. The food was alright. Portions were a bit interesting. The hash I had was about six cubes of potatoes, and the bacon was about two pieces. The pancakes were burnt and they had put the burnt side down on the plate so you couldn't see it. While I left feeling good, it wasn't the best. Not sure I'd go back.
Good food good music good time. As a professional musician I love playing on this stage and entertaining the happy folks on the dance Floor. Top-quality stage and house sound.
While not someplace that I frequent being in a neighboring state, I did find it to be a unique little place. Only giving four stars because of it being a bar, they do not have somewhere for "underage" patrons to sit/hang out before concerts that are open to their age group. The concert that I took my son to ended up starting later than the ticket time and he was forced to stand outside in the cold for well over an hour past the time the concert was supposed to start because he was a minor under 21. However, with that aside, it was a nice place. I ended up getting dinner here towards the end of the concert while I was waiting on my son to get out of the concert. Wait staff was friendly, swift, and informative. Offered to keep an eye on my table, as I was eating alone, so that I could run to the restroom before my food came. Food was okay.. it's a bar. I've definitely had much worse from actual restaurants. I ordered their steak salad with no tomatoes. Serving size was big and filling.
Went to Beat Kitchen last night to see a live performance. Great experience all around! The venue located downstairs accommodated a crowd of us in a smaller, more intimate setting. Drinks were surprisingly affordable and tasty. Looking forward to coming again!
Great bar with reasonably priced drinks, and awesome venue to see a show!
Surprisingly very good bar food AND a poppin' venue in the back. Great rotating selection of beers on tap too!
