The cottage is ideal for couples wanting a short break or holiday, open up the double sofa bed and you can sleep 3 or 4. Fully self contained. Full Kitchen. Separate Queen Bedroom, sofa bed in Lounge. The Bed will be made up, ready for you to walk in, break out the wine and relax in the sun. Please supply own linen for guest using sofa bed. All you need to bring is your own towels and food. The deck is a sun trap and looks out over the garden. Think back to your childhood and those simple fun filled days at the beach that is WAITARERE. Waitarere is a long sandy beach (one of the few beaches you can drive on), with safe swimming and water sports. Surf patrol is right in front. The beach is nestled between 2 pine forests with great walking & biking tracks running through them. 2 bikes available, petanque, table tennis table, WII sport. Public tennis courts and 2 playgrounds.
Dig for pipi and tuatua all year round. Walk to Cafes.
Our own house "The Beacon" is on the back of the property, cottage guests are invited to come up on to the decks of "The Beacon" to experience the amazing sunsets and coastal views.
