It is a spacious, light & airy studio with underfloor heating and free parking outside, making it easily accessible to all.My aim is to ensure clients feel they have worked hard in a class but within a safe range of movement for their body. I have come to Pilates a bit later in life, discovering the reformer first and then mat. Helen’s teaching has transformed my view on exercise. I used to join gyms and make excuses not to go, but Helen has such a fun, inclusive, calm, down to earth and informative way of teaching that I now look forward to every class. The beneficial effects that Helen’s teaching of Pilates has had on my back, hips, fitness and well being have been huge. It’s an added bonus that the studio is a bright, clean, beautiful space to practice Pilates, accompanied by views of the Downs and birdsong.
Helen at Hill View Pilates is fab! I started with a couple of 1-1 sessions which enabled me to find out what my strengths and weaknesses are and for Helen to see this too. This has helped in the mat classes I now attend weekly meaning I get a more personalised class. The studio is well equipped, clean and spacious with beautiful views! Helen is very knowledgeable and attentive throughout the small classes. I would not hesitate to recommend Hill View Pilates.
I really enjoy visiting Helens pilates classes at Hillview, I'm new to reformer pilates and I got hooked straight away. Its a great workout that really strengthens the body Helen is very attentive and classes are tailored for your individual needs for all age groups. The studio is bright, airy and spacious, not forgetting an amazing view at the same time.
I've been waiting to join a class where the teacher totally understands the muscular body, after years of various yoga teachers. Helen doing Pilates is a joy to excercise with. I cannot feel if my postures are straight due to childhood damage,but Helen adjusts the excercise to each group and adds reminders. The view while doing the exercises is also superb. So glad she found stenying.
Helen is just amazing! She listens, thinks about what is best for you and acts on it! I can’t recommend her more. Lovely feel to her studio too.
Hill view Pilates have been amazing in teaching me that core strength is important for the whole body and has helped with improving ongoing back complaints. I have loved the teachers and the environment. A great find.
Helen is a very supportive teacher and offers great variety in her classes - highly recommend!
I have loved every session here at Hillview. I started once a week 8 weeks ago and have felt stronger with each session. Would highly recommend Emily as an instructor. Thank you to Helen for a beautiful setting.
