We nearly didn't use Bazil's as reviews wernt good. Decided to check it out. Top loader washing machine was really good, front loader washed well but didn't spin as well, & cost $6 instead of $4. Front loaders never spin well in my experience. Luckily a nice fine day to hang 2 loads on the line. Thanks Bazils
The worst laundry of NZ. We are traveling in NZ since 9 months and we have never seen a dirty laundry like this one. I put a timer on my phone to come back exactly at the end of the washing machine and 10 seconds after the end of my washing machine à staff member of the hostel was already opening it and removing my clothes. Some of them fell down on the floor and then they put it on a disgusting table. Had to wash it again.
$4 wash = clean clothesn$6 half hour in the dryer = dry clothesnFelt goodnI have clean dry clothes nownYay
5 washing machines & 5 dryers available at the time. 2 x $2 coins for a wash & 1 x $2 coins for a dry for 10mins needed at least 20mins drytime on high heat. Very clean laundry they were vacuuming the floor, removing the lint from dryers & disinfecting all touch surfaces while I was there. Good 2 see, recommend.
It was good to see all dryers working this time. The only complaint I have is that people should stay with their laundry when using the laundromat. When I arrived all dryers were in use but no one to be seen. I sat there and stared at there dried clothing in the dryer for about half an hour before I removed some clothes from one of the dryers as it had finished it's 45 minute cycle but the owner still had not appeared. I left their clothes in the table at the laundromat but I shouldn't have to remove their laundry in order to use the dryers. There were at least 6 other people that arrived while I was there to use the dryers but couldn't because someone's clothes were still sitting in there. By the time I had left there were 3 dryers with someone's dried clothes sitting in them and they had been that way for an hour while I was there. People need to have common courtesy for others and just stay with your washing so we can all utilize the facilities.
