Our first time there as we've just moved here. Great place for the kids and plenty of different pools to enter. There's a slide and plank too. The kids loved it.
We were on a school trip, and the kids loved it. Warm enough to not get cold, but not too warm either. Lots of fun activities for kids, and saunas and spa pools are wonderful, a little bit expensive but well worth it. 5 stars from me
Awesome! Fantastic space and equipment, plus really lovely staff who were patient and gave me details on different membership plans and more about the town in general. Nice swimming area, hot pool, and sauna. One of the best aquatic centers in New Zealand.nUnfortunately, there was an old fellow in the sauna who was making some uncomfortable and Islamophobic comments when I was trying to relax. Not the gyms fault at all, of course, but left me feeling unwelcome. Heads up, seems to be lots of conservatives using the sauna as a place to chat, so bring your waterproof headphones if you want any peace.

Our young whānau really enjoyed the range of warm pools and the cool splash pad/kid's slides area. We went earlier in the morning and later in the afternoon so it wasn't super busy which was great.
