Beautiful place, with a beautiful view. We found the location ideal, as it was very tranquil, but not far from the centre of Picton. We had a comfortable stay here, with absolutely everything we needed. Check-in was easy and staff were very friendly. We also enjoyed eating at The Jolly Roger, which was a restaurant about ten minutes walk away plus got a 10% discount for staying at the Bay Vista.
Absolutely loved it, it's like home away from home. Swear to God, we had the best apartment, completely private as it was an end room room 7, all the wildlife, and amazing entertainment on the waterfront day and night. Honestly, can't wait to come back. Rach the manager was amazing, and the cleaner, she's so awesome and clearly loves her job. Did a lovely day trip to Havelock, also stunning. And plenty of places to dine at.
Arrived late at night off the ferry and the lovely staff left our room open for us to get into at 1am, and we woke up to a gorgeous view of Picton. Super clean and tidy, with coffee bags provided and a very kind owner. Super easy and good experience, highly recommend.
Absolutely stunning location. We've loved waking up to the view over the bay - so beautiful and tranquil. Rachel and her team are very welcoming. The rooms are immaculate and have everything you could need. Our favourite place we have stayed in New Zealand so far.
I stayed for a nice recently and absolutely loved every moment. Wish I could've had longer! It is such a wonderfully experience restful, peaceful and quiet place with spectacular views from the rooms. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The perfect place for relaxing get away. Highly recommended!
