We went there for an international cricket game. The ground itself was good and the availability to sit anywhere you liked is a great freedom. It needs more entrances into the ground as there were big lines of people getting into the ground and a large portion of people were very late getting into the ground due to the hold ups.
Cricket here is the best we have been to so far. The players were close and the crowd was excellent. The food trucks were great and the ground staff were incredible. They were cleaning up cups and rubbish the whole day through. At the end of the game the place was so organised with hardly any rubbish and we had such a great chat with some of the ladies who were sorting recycling. They were so passionate about the area and protecting the land, it made us proud to be a kiwi. A brilliant day was had. Totally recommend
Went to one day cricket NZ vs Pakistan on 5th April and was impressed how this place was run. Good facilities, plenty of space. A real friendly atmosphere

Experience for cricket is always good, food selection from the trucks area is great. Great views, nice grassy options for sitting. Bars a decent price and good service
