Visit www.spca.nz for more information about the Bay Of Islands SPCA.
The Bay of Islands SPCA is part of Royal New Zealand Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. It is a voluntary organisation which, through its 48 district branches across the country, provides help to animals and owners 24 hours a day, seven days a week, although the public should expect only genuine emergencies to be dealt with outside normal working hours.
We rely almost entirely on the generosity of the public to carry out our life-saving work. The majority of our income comes from donations, bequests and our own fundraising efforts.
We have a Dog & Cat Shelter - we offer the community a 24/7 emergency service - we are a very small SPCA, we have two Inspectors covering 7 24/7 emergency service.
At the BOI SPCA we're not just about cats and dogs - we take in or care for all animals and work with many agencies to ensure all those sick and or injured are given the best care we can provide.
Thank you for your ongoing care and support.
