Why hypnotherapy?
All of us have habits and behaviours that we do every day, some are good some not so good. Often we realise that it would be better if we didn't act or feel a certain way, but changing these behaviours can be hard. We can talk about them and really want to change but sometimes, it just doesn't work. This is because our mind is in two parts, the conscious where we make all our decisions day to day, for instance deciding to go and make a cup of tea and the subconscious which has been recording our experiences since the day we were born, for instance it is the part of the mind that allows you to hop in a car and drive without really thinking about it. Because like driving a car, our habits have been learned they are firmly cemented into the subconscious part of the mind. To change them we need to talk to the subconscious mind and that's what we do in Hypnotherapy, this makes it so much more effective than other traditional methods.
