Had a great day out at Bay of Islands Golf Club. The course itself was in top shape and offered some really enjoyable golf—challenging enough to keep things interesting without being punishing. A few of the holes were especially tricky with the rain coming through, which definitely tested the focus and the short game, but that just added to the fun.nThe staff were super helpful and welcoming, which always makes a difference. Everything was easy and well organised, and the golf carts were a big plus—made getting around the course a breeze, especially with the weather not playing ball.nAfter finishing up, we parked ourselves at Hole 19 while waiting for the rest of the group to come in. Good food, cold beers, and a relaxed vibe—exactly what you want after a round. All up, a great experience with solid golf, good people, and a few laughs along the way. Would happily play there again.
Great challenging course, loved the down hill 7th hole par 3 and hole 2 par 5 down hill dog leg. Greens true and fast
This is a gem of a course and you are welcomed in a friendly and business like manner, not like Waitangi! The course is interesting with some great holes and you wont be disappointed. Carts are good and the experience is memorable.
Relaxed atmosphere. Pretty well kept course. Nice greens. Not expensive. Rental clubs were pretty good. Fairways were above average. Very forgiving rough.
