Relaxed atmosphere. Pretty well kept course. Nice greens. Not expensive. Rental clubs were pretty good. Fairways were above average. Very forgiving rough.
We arrived on Monday to be told the earliest we could get a coffee was Wednesday; no catering. As pensioners, we queried with the Pro whether we could comfortably walk the course he thought so and pointed us to the strollers: “They’re free… you’ll see why”. Well even with a stop after 9, the course is so steep in parts that my wife had to go in after 16. The back 9 was very slow because despite a sign forbidding it, most members seem to prefer to start on the 10th. As for the course, the layout is good, the fairways generous, excellent greens. In short, a good course spoiled.
Didn't get to play a game but manager very welcoming. Was going to play Sunday twilight but had to go elsewhere. Plenty of room for parking caravan $20 /night
Can camp over for small fee. Access to toilets and showers durng working hours. Water also available. Meals available some days.. just check when you arrive. Friendly staff. Gates locked at night.
Course needs some attention and grooming. I thought it expensive as it does not compare well with some of the country courses in the north. Difficult to navigate for a visitor with lots of blind shots and poor fairway conditions.
