Amazing theatre. Came here yesterday to watch the puppet show Flutter. I really enjoyed the show. Such a wonderful theatre with lovely staff. This was my first time visiting, will definitely return again.
Friendly staff and the stand up comedy was entertaining too. I enjoyed it very much because the venue was old school and not too modern which gave it a traditional theatre feel.
Cute old theatre but very small bar/waiting room
Cool venue in an old building on the edge of the city centre. Nice selection of drinks, including non-alcoholic beer. Friendly staff. Saw a great fringe festival comedy show in one of the upstairs rooms.
My husband and I went there to watch the improvised drama performance and it was brilliant!! Despite that the theater is a little tiny and crowded given so many people attending this show, it's an excellent experience being here. Staff are nice and kind. Thanks Mahua for performing in Wellington!
Great little venue. Attended a comedy festival event here. Very intimate small theatre downstairs. Great for smal acts. Front of house hosts a bar and ticket counter with a nice lounge area for patrons to wait for the show or just come for a drink with friends. There is also outside tables. I would come back for future events.
It's been a while since I last came here. Lovely little theatre, with bar and seating area... very cosy. Seven of us there to see a show...had a fab time. I was pleasantly surprised and happy to hear before the doors opened...they announced that anyone with mobility issues to please enter first... there were 2 in our group that it applied to. Thank you Bats Theatre for the wonderful experience.

Intimate wee theatre with lovely atmosphere. Large easy to view stage, very functional. Lively bar and reception, friendly staff.
