Friendly inviting staff. Good hire shoes, chalk, hygienic. Great bouldering and climibing gym plus the clip and climb for youngsters
Thee go to place for climbing in Queenstown.nnWith a great range of grades at a variety of levels, top rope, auto belays and comp wall. There is plenty of options to choose from.nnStaff are super friendly and helpful and always warming with a smile on their faces.nnPrices are fair and you can hire all the climbing needs you want.
We did the snow shoe adventure here in Queenstown with Jenny today. It was such a great experience. Her knowledge, experience, and care made us feel welcomed and safe. Thoroughly recommend this adventure with Basecamp Adventures.
We had a great time at the Clip and Climb here. It was really quiet when we visited, which was nice, and there were plenty of options and challenges to fill the hour. Our 10yo and 40+yo climbers both had fun giving it a go.
A rock climbing gym with a lead/toprope wall with some Clip n Climbs, a bouldering wall with a Moonboard and a fairly big Clip n Climb space for the kids.nnWe were there only for the bouldering. There was a moderate amount of boulder problems and at our level there isn’t much left to climb for a second session. The routesetting on the bouldering side was mediocre but passable with some fun problems.nnThere is a small gym area, equipped mainly with dumbbells, hangboards, rings and an exercise bike. No showers.nnYou can buy basic climbing gear here, including the new edition of the Queenstown climbing guidebook. You can also rent bouldering mats / crash pads here. Better selection in rental pads than at Small Planet.nnStaff was super friendly and opened the door for pad rental before opening hours.
