Barkleys On The River

My puppy Summer loves Barkleys day care and can't wait to get through the door each day. Summer had a very bad experience at her previous day care at the age of four months and developed a number of issues. She was very shy on her first day and the staff did an amazing job of reassuring her and showing her that day care is fun again. Summer has become a lot more confident around strangers and other dogs. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable so it is a pleasure for me to go there as well as Summer. I wouldn't trust my dog with anyone else while I'm at work.

Barkleys is a great place. My partner drops our dog off for daycare and every time he sees the building he gets so excited because he knows he can see his friends. Staff are so welcoming and welcomes our dog and takes very good care of him. Rates are good price as well. My partner also follows them on social media so we can see what he gets up to. Also gave our dog a puppy clip recently and the team did a great job.Highly recommend.

We love Barkleys, we use to go to another doggy daycare but had a lot of issues there so tried Barkleys. Barkleys have been aamazing, really listen to us and look after our 2 boys like their own dogs. Plus cheapest daycare I know of. Also love seeing the other pets in store when waiting for pick up. Such an awesome place!

Barkleys is the best place in town. Our dog just loves going there to play with her friends. The girls are loving and kind to all the dogs. We had our dog cocker spaniel groomed for the first time there by Rebekah and she did an absolutely fantastic job. The owners are so welcoming, friendly and full of knowledge. I have recently had my long haired border collie groomed by these guys. They were really welcoming and we're happy to look after my dog during work hours and let me drop him off early in the morning. Super accomodating and flexible. And the haircut was awesome, being a double coated dog it's pretty crucial to get the length right and they absolutely nailed it. He looks great and it's way more manageable. Best price I was quoted in town too.

Spencer my dog and I absolutely love Barkleys. We have tried other doggy day care establishments in the city, but have found at Barkleys the opening hours to be better for us, the staff friendlier and Spencer's overall care and enjoyment better catered to. As a customer i love that the staff are knowledgeable, approachable and all seem passionate about the work that they do. As a "Dog Mumma" the regular photos and updates of Spencer's adventures at doggy day care are very much appreciated and "oooo'ed" and "ahhh'ed" after. Spencer is a very loved, spoilt and valued member of my family...leaving him anywhere or with anyone can be very challenging as his care, safety and enjoyment are paramount to me. With that said, I'm totally at ease with leaving him in the care of the girls at Barkleys...they know their stuff, they know dogs and they know Spencer. I would definitely recommend Barkleys to anyone interested in finding an awesome place with awesome people to leave their fur baby with.

So much love for Barkleys! These guys really care about their customers and their pets. They make you feel like a part of the family and take the time to know you and your dog. Highly recommend.

Friendly knowledgeable staff. Some of the food prices are higher than average. Good range of products though. Used the grooming service for nail trim $15. Quick and fuss free for pooch. Will dog sit for $5 per hour.

I was very impressed by this family built store, i fully recomend these guys. Lovely team, and so good to see what you could call a rescue shelter where personally i haven't seen much in different towns. Reasonable priced items, good different range of items/toys i haven't seen in other pet stores. Such a cool environment, with the daycare there too. Absolutely love this place.
