One of the best place for many things but tasting drinks was best part. Coffee was best in New Zealand on our 10 days trip. Overall kids enjoyed the vibes truely it was so much fun and happy place to stop by. On the way to Mt Cook national park. Anyone driving pass must stop or drive from Christchurch for lunc.nNamaste
A must-stop on the drive from Christchurch to Lake Tekapo! Barker’s of Geraldine is always a highlight — the staff are super friendly and generous with free tastings, letting you try different juices before you buy.nTheir famous New Zealand blackcurrant juice is my absolute favourite: rich, refreshing, and full of flavour. The cakes and muffins are also delicious and perfect for a quick road-trip treat.nIf you’re passing through Geraldine, don’t miss this place — great drinks, great food, and great Kiwi hospitality.
They were able to cater for coelaics and were so careful, asked us the right questions and were able to answer our questions. They were very knowledgeable with coelaic and gluten free. Their menu had many options, a bit pricey but the food was pretty good. My two kids are small eaters but had a kids burger each. They were fair size but pretty big for them. They finished it without fuss and kept telling us how delicious their gluten-free burger was! My burger was pretty big as well. The portion sizes were pretty excellent. Service was wonderful and they had samples of alot of their products including their cordials with an option for normal or sparkling water. Definitely will come back here and recommend to all tourists and locals of course!.
Wide selection of jams and sauce. Many unique flavours to choose from. They have tasting counters for you to sample before buying.nnPies are great too! Ideal stopover if you are heading down from Christchurch.
The best cafe we visited during our 2-week roadtrip of the South Island. There’s sample stations inside to try the juices, jams and chutneys. We ordered chips, plain scone and coffees. All were incredible. Nice seating indoor and out
