We have had an amazing experience with Cathy as our property manager. When we first moved in, there was a fob missing and she got it sorted out immediately. Our exhaust fan was also not working and she organized to have it cleaned promptly. Would absolutely recommend renting with Cathy, she is extremely lovely and very helpful :

Barfoot and Thompson Takapuna.nHave been nothing but absolutely ridiculous to deal with.nFrom Monique Barkers Inital Inspection Report blatantly Lying, house is Fill of Black mold, broken electrical fittings, not to mention the state of the Roof leaks, or the gardens being well overgrown.nSince they received my initial inspection report, showing blatant contradictions to Moniques, ive had absolutely not one bit of concern reguarding the Reports.  Ive been ignored and passed between people, where ive had to get media and my own builders Reports ar my expense to back up my initial inspection report.nTo which a month after moving in I was guaranteed a meeting on the 13th Nov 25.nNow ive been informed they are quitting as property managers for this property, which they have had for 15yrs, and let it get to a stage that serious major works must be actioned before it gets condemned as its not a safe and healthy home they state it is.nThey are running for the hills and quitting instead of sticking to wait they have stated on paper and legal agreements telling me instead to goto Tenancy Services.nIm highly disgusted and the fact I have a serious Heart Condition makes this situation even worse.nBarfoot and Thompson Takapuna have only one thing they are worried about and that is the Money they can make, even going as far as lying and just quitting when found out.

I've used B & T for many years to manage a rental property and they've been exceptional. My Property Manager from the Takapuna branch is Cathy, she has always been very quick to respond to any queries I've had, to arrange trades people to carry out repairs etc. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cathy and B & T to anyone looking to engage with a property manager.
