The taste of this Thai restaurant is decent, but the overall experience is terrible. First, both the portion size and the amount of milk tea were only half of what you’d expect; even with less ice, the milk tea only filled half of an IKEA glass. Finally, when paying the bill, they overcharged me by 10 cents and did not apply the “two milk teas for NZD 18” deal. Instead, they charged NZD 9.99 per cup for four cups, overcharging me by NZD 4.99 in total. Overall, while the taste was okay, the service and pricing were very disappointing.
Today I ordered a stir fry veges with cashew nuts. The meal was full of colour and a good variety of veges that were lightly done and a nice bite to them and plenty of flavour and nice on the palate. The staff were warm and friendly. Look forward to getting this dish again. Thankyou for good service.
This is the BEST food in all of Oamaru. Authentic Thai, very delicious, nice people, highly recommend. We were very tentative of the “food pictures” as it normally indicates low-quality Asian food, but this was so incredible we each ordered a full meal and then two full meals to-go.
This was our second visit and it was very consistent with the first visit. The menu is not as large as some Thai restaurants but it contains popular dishes such as Pad Thai. Some of the food was excellent- the satay chicken skewers were a stand out but the other two dishes we had green curry and black pepper and garlic beef were good but not great. For me it was not a flavour explosion but was still a good meal. I would go back for the satay skewers!!
Yummy food, good portion size. Def would reccomend! We had basil sauce duck & ginger chicken special. The drinks were waaaay too sweet but easily dilutable with water. My friend found the drinks good but I have a lower sweet tolerance. Overall
