Really good tasty food and good prices. Had the fried pork dumplings as a starter and they were pretty good. The star meal for the evening was the Seafood Treasure Basket. It was really yum, fresh seafood with the scallops melting in your mouth. The service was a little slow, but considering how busy they were it wasn't to bad. Would recommend any day!
Initially i thought is a Chinese restaurant, but after i saw the menu, then i noticed this is cover Asian food include Chinese, Thai and Japanese. Heeemmm... Why so confusing? Luckily the food taste great, and as my expectations, price is above the expensive side. See for yourself, you will know what i mean...Food: 4/5
Nice decor but cold inside. Nice mocktails had Lychee smash and Bamboo honey delight. Service actually pretty dismal, no meal checks or warm positive vibes. Think this needs to be seriously addressed if you want to portray yourselves on a higher end scale of hospitality in Marlborough Had Prawn and pork dumpling and approached the counter and queried if there was a mistake as no prawn inside, apparently its blended together but wasn't going to argue the fact prawn non existent. Also had Duck spring rolls, Chu chee Blue cod, Cantonese style half roast duck & Pad si ew. Food was OK but really no wow factor & after spending $99 on food for two, shouldn't really leave feeling hungry.We regularly go out & dine once a week & usually frequent same establishment's, sadly won't be back for some time.
The best Chinese restaurant in Blenheim. I love the food here. The staff are amazing, specially John and Amy who looks after me well in every visit. The ambience just right, feels pleasant and relaxing. My personal favourites I would recommend to try for lunch are Wonton Soup, Cantonese Duck, Steamed Fish, Beef Ho Fan, Claypot Ginger Chicken and Hainan Ginger Chicken.
Very nice staffs hosting the very well decorated restaurant supplying Chinese, Korean and Japanese cuisines. Dishes are beautiful and delicious. Further more, there is a very cute robot to help deliver food, attracting everyone's attention and making the dining experience full of fun.
My favourite place to have Chinese, Thai food. My favourite is green curry and Angry dish. Lunch menu is bit cheaper than dinner. Staff is very friendly. Addition to the staffing, they have a robot that delivers the food. Toilet facilities are clean and the restaurant is also clean. I have been here few times and I have enjoyed my meals. Ambience can be challenging. We would hear other diners conversation...lol. But all good. There is lot of parking on the side of the Restaurant and even along the road. Reservations can help you secure a place but we went without any reservations. During Covid time, vaccine pass was required. They were doing their best to ensure their diners are safe. The also have a dessert and wine menu. You will definitely enjoy Bamboo Garden.
We enjoyed a great lunch, there were 8 at our table so we had the table banquet for only $23 a head. 2 starters and 7 mains plus a dessert all shared from large bowls. 2 of us chose to take a takeaway home with us as well so we really must of enjoyed our meal.
Sadly despite the good reviews we didnt enjoy our meals at all. Has scheuan prk belly, it was dry and tough and the canbage was large hard chunks of the white part of cabbage. The other dish was sweetand sour pork, pork was dry and sauce was bland neither sweet nor sour. Service was great aswas atmosphere. Prices were fair had the food been ok.
The service was very poor, we waited some time for drink then waited for the girl to take food order. Food was very average I ordered chicken chow mein it looked like instant noodles with chicken, broccoli, cauliflower carrot very bland in taste . When we ate what we could the plates sat for a hour in front of us with no customer service, no offer of drinks or dessert. Just wouldn't return.
Takeaways service is excellent, and the food was great. Very pleased and would recommend without hesitation. I must try the Restaurant side soon ;-Food: 5/5
