This place rocks! My daughter was thrilled to come here and select her special dress. Great service and good prices too.
When I had my ball I knew it would be difficult to find a dress as I am plus size 18-20. My mum rang asking if she had many dresses in size 18+ as we would be travelling 7 hours up there to try on dresses. The owner said that she has plenty to try and to choose from. So we travelled the 7 hours and get there. There were only 3 dresses to try on. The owner was rude, rushed the entire process and ruined the entire experience.
Went to the shop for a quick look for a dress with my partner for a function coming up, but ended up having a ball there "pun intended". Where my partner tried on many dresses and we loved them all, she struggled to pick one dress out of the huge range that is there. The staff were very helpful and kind and made an overall awesome experience.
One of the best service I've ever gone. the moment i walked in, the two staffs immediately came to help and explain to me about everything. they gave me recommendations on what dresses would suit me and they honestly were just the sweetest. I really recommend going here if you're trying to look for ball dresses. All the dresses are at a reasonable price yet they're still in such good quality.
Small shop with many different styles and colours. Very affordable compared to other Auckland stores! Helen has been wonderful and really knows her dresses :
First stop to find a ball dress for my daughter. Found one she was very happy with and bought it. Staff were super friendly and helpful with advice and guidance. Thank you
Absolutely gorgeous dresses and staff who listen to what you want as well as know what dresses fit your body best. Staff also work around your budget. Only few disappointing points, I felt as though I was not a evenly valued customer and the quality of the dress I brought was not so great. When I tried on dresses at the store the store only had one other customer which had two people accompanying them and my partner was told they had to stay by the door which I thought was rather unfair considering the other group had two people with them and on their door and Facebook page it says you can have upto three extras and I wasn’t allowed to have one which also meant the staff had to help me with putting on the dresses. Which is fine but both staff members were preoccupied with the one other customer majority of the time so even after asking for help I was left to wait or walk out of the changing room holding my dress up while they stood around the other customer. the quality of the dress I brought was not okay before leaving the store my partner noticed that the sewing that attached the zipper to the dress had unstitched in places and the zipper would also not stay up. If my partner hadn’t of noticed I’m not so sure the staff would have told me as they had zipped it up and never mentioned it then. We also had asked for the price to be lowered because it was $265 and for that price we would expect the dress to be of good quality and they denied us. On the first and only night that I wore the dress stitching on the slit also started to unstitch itself leaving me weary of exposing myself.
I just want to recommend this shop to everyone. I took my grand daughter there as it was recommended to me by a friend. The variety of sizes colour and styles were far better than anywhere else we went to. My grand daughter is on the larger size and the service and positive attitudeby the owner was so wonderful. She mafe her feel comfortable and we walked out very happy. Thank you
Would never go again or recommend anyone. Very rude old lady I don’t know she was staff or owner. Not helping at all to ask what I’m looking for, instead commented on my body. There were 2 customers only, me & another lady but both old lady & other staff were attending another customer, not even interested to attending us or asking. Even clothes doesn’t look new but all looks used clothes & even find 3-4 dresses damaged. After that experience when we were leaving even we said bye & thank you, but neither girl or old lady to respond to say thank you or even bye , not even tuned to us to respond. Pathetic
This is the best place to get shopping for your ball dress. The staff were so amazing, Helen and Shreya were the best they went to help my sister get her ball dress and they also took time to have a chat with us it was so good. The customer service was perfect and their ball dresses are such good material and fabric. AMAZING. Thank you guys
