Shefco Baklawa Cafe is the real deal when it comes to authentic Middle Eastern flavours. The pastries are absolutely amazing, and the hummus and babaganoush are some of the best and most authentic I’ve had.nnNo fuss, no pretence just simple, straightforward food made really well. Great value for money, generous flavours, and a place that truly delivers on quality.nnHighly recommended if you’re looking for genuine Middle Eastern cuisine and incredible pastries.
Recommend by a good friend telling me the buffet dinner is something you don't want to miss that's why I am here.nnI have to say for a price around $35 per person this is a feast!nnThey have almost everything you can imagine when think of middle east signature foods.nnI did expect the deserts are sweet but the truth is only a couple of them are out of my range others are very good.nnI takeaway a box of handmade cookies they are super yummy nnBusiness is very good so you'd better book in advance.nnOh BTW you must use the same plate the restaurant staff gives you the entire meal time, no change, no plate collection during your meal.
It was absolutely terrible. I wouldnt go back there. Food tasted bad. Chicken was cold, even though its on a warmer tray. Cant believe these guys have a licence to serve food. What a joke. Had to leave there hungry and go buy dinner else where. 1 star only. If there was a way to give negative stars, this place meets the requiments for negatives. Looking at the rest of the restaurant, other people also felt the same. Plates still full of food. And a man smoking in the restaurant.
We recently visited Shefco . The food was really nice and full of flavour. We especially enjoyed the pizza it was fresh, cheesy, and well prepared. The quality of the food was definitely good.nnHowever, the service was disappointing. It took around 30 minutes just to receive a cup of tea hot water and a tea bag, which felt quite long. The staff did not seem very attentive, as they were talking among themselves and we had to wait without being acknowledged. For takeaway, we stood near the sweets section for about 15 minutes before anyone noticed us.nnOverall, the food was great, but the service needs improvement. We hope they can work on being more attentive and reducing the waiting time, as it would make the experience much better.
When you walk into the store, it feels like you've arrived in a Middle Eastern country. Feels like authentic food, made for their own people.nnToday we phones ahead to pick up a to-go order, and they timed it just right so that it was still warm when I got home.nnThe food was delish! Next time would like to try to eat in-store.
