We went to Baklava Cafe on Stoddard Road on a Friday evening. Initially we wanted to have à la carte but they only had buffet on that day. They had a good spread of dishes varying from hummus, lamb Mandhi, grilled chicken, salad and desserts.nnAll of the dishes were good and filling. They charged about 30$ per person for the buffet . One suggestion I would like to give to their management is to keep a few doors of the restaurant closed as it is chilly outside.nnThe food started to get cold by the time we sad down to have dinner. Other than that everything was fine. The staff were very friendly and the service was great!nnThey had plenty of seating and it is a good place to go with friends and family to enjoy authentic Mediterranean food.
Food was amazing but I reckon the place can be a bit cleaner. I suppose during my visit maybe they were short on staff so I had a bit of a wait for my coffee other wise our food arrived on time and was delicious! Would go for that again
We got the buffet and it was ALL delicious. Seriously, every dish I tried was so good. Loved the chicken curry and the green beans in the tomato sauce. Baklava and the other rice pudding unsure of correct name for it dessert were soooo yum too. Really reasonable price for delicious and warming food that really tastes like it’s been made with love! Can’t wait to come back
Budget friendly authentic Lebanese restaurant. Breakfast menu is served until 3 pm and from 3 pm, dinner menu starts. Variety of baklawa's are available. Lebanese bread, Hummus and baklawa is a must try.
I started coming here after a friend recommended their baklavas, and they’re just . Their lamb shawarma meal is super authentic and tastes delicious. They also have Barbican and other Middle Eastern fizzy drinks.
