I've worked the past 2 seasons in Motueka and stayed in a few different places in town as a traveler and as a seasonal worker, this is by far the worst hostel I have experienced. No wifi the entire stay, dirty kitchen and my sheets smelt like they came from a second hand shop full of drunks and problem people drinking and singing late into the night. Not good for international guests who want to meet other travelers Don't recommend.
This is a private accomodation cater for workers under the RSE Scheme. AND local workers with MSD to get people off the benefit ...also for those who wants to experience the South Island especially the orchard producers.
Great place. Got some lovely bread and cheese.
