Wonderful food... When they have it. Never enough hot gluten free options, no matter the time - dissapointing to waste a lunchtime only to find very little.
If the price of beef is high these days either raise the price of the steak and cheese pie or stop selling them. Selling a pie labelled steak and cheese with only a tablespoon of beef is deceitful.nThe potato top pie was overly cooked on top a little stale chewy. It had a decent curry flavor. The mince and cheese was your typical, not too bad and edible mince and cheese. Couldn't spot the cheese though!? The butter chicken had that nice fruity curry flavor but again, standard to small portions of meat and the pastry was a little stale.nTheir pies wouldn't compete with the best but at least they weren't too old, under or over heated or grisly. Their pastry was standard if not crunchy but a little too chewy.
$6 for a basic steak and cheese pie!nMushy, small, 75% corn flour, falls to pieces in your hands.nKind of insulting to customers to be honest.nQuality has dropped way off, price has gone way up.nStaff could learn some customer service too. Smiling and being polite costs nothing. They look miserable. It's quite off putting.nnDon't bother.
Thought I had found a great bakery in Dunedin & was completely let down, don’t waste your time. Rip off brought two pies a savoury and a drink was $23 as well as customer service non existent complete foul faces no smiles and attitudes when trying to pay not welcoming at all. Mince and cheese pie had no cheese mince tasted weird and pastry was hard for both pies.
Our must go to when we come back to Dunedin. The club sammies are the best nAlways good service. And the lady that runs this is amazing! Was nice to see your smiley face.
