Our horse trekking routes take you through the historic gold mining valley of Cardrona and up on high country farm plateaus beneath the towering mountains.
Back Country Saddles operates all year round with our Appaloosa horses equipped with western saddles. The treks leave twice daily at 10.00am and 1.30pm. Rates Adults: $90.00
Children (15 years and under) $70.00

The Western Saddles offer comfort and security, especially for children or beginner riders. It is a saddle designed to be sat in for long periods of time.
We are situated on the historic Cardrona Station right next to Cardrona Ski field.
