This was my second visit to Babylon Kebab, so now qualifies as my favourite. I can't really call myself a connoisseur of this cuisine, but the quality of the meat is very good. Had a iskender and a chipbab kebab with chips in the wrap. Visited with family and everyone left happy. Don't forget to try the turkish delight.
Baffling to me how this place is highly rated. When we walked in around 6:30 - 7 the owner was clearly annoyed to have a customer. When we said we'd like to have it here he seemed shocked, which is fine, but he made no effort to hide his disappointment, which is not. The food was edible, but not good. He didn't wash his hands before preparing the food, which is pretty basic in my book. Just the overall experience was massively lackluster. I will not be returning.
Love this kebab shop! Owners are very friendly and always produce 10/10 meals, I’m guessing it’s a family owned business and I can tell by the way they really pride themselves with their food. Will always support this business

Best service in Wellington overall! The kebabs, iskanders and hot chips were delicious, the food had authentic and fresh flavours, fantastic service from the staff, they tailored our needs for our kids. Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed.
Great service, food tasted great, only deducting a star because I got food poisoning from the kebabs.
Average food, quite a poor service. A staff member told my friend they don't serve hot drinks, but they had a hot apple tea on the menu, I know as I've ordered it and got it :. In addition, you can't choose sauces when you order your food, they ask you to come over to the counter after the food is ready and tell them what sauce to put in your dish. That was very weird and inconvenient. Service was quick though. Apple tea had tons of sugar, but that's not their fault I believe. Just don't order it if you don't want to get sugar overdose :.
