"Infant Massage Strokes.....an affectionate nonverbal communication"
What is Infant Massage & What to expect from the classes?
Infant Massage is an essential interaction through a nurturing touch between parents/caregivers and infant which will empower parents and enhance the bonding process.
Infant massage classes are open to all families with babies aged 0 -12 months The course runs over 5 sessions, usually one per week, 90 mins in duration. This allows you to easily manage the new information and gives your baby time to cope with this new experience. It takes weeks for your baby to tolerate a full body massage so breaking the massage down into small sections means both you and your baby can get the most from the sessions.
Only you or your partner will massage your baby while Isabelle demonstrates the movements on a massage doll. You will have plenty of time in the classes to discuss any questions, meet other parents and to relax and enjoy this special time with your baby.
Isabelle has been a French Midwife since1983 and now is a Certified Infant Massage Instructor with the International Association of Infant Massage, here in New Zealand. She is offering Baby Massage group classes and One on One courses in Milford and Auckland wide, in the comfort of your own home.
Very flexible hours.
Course available in English and in French.
