Babaganush was amazing! The food was outstanding, I forgot to get a photo of our entree, it was the garlic bread and was fantastic! The kebab was HUGE. Pizza was awesome for the kids and the wife had the Iskender she was raving about it, the couscous side dish she especially enjoyed. Topped it off with baklava! Couldn’t have asked for a better night. We were able to sit outside which was a real treat in the sunshine. Do yourself a favor and eat here when I. Hamilton East! Vegetarian options: Has vegetarian options. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly environment. Parking: Lots of parking on Grey St. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant was accessible by wheel chair.
Wasn't sure looking at it from the outside, but after you walk through the doors it's beautiful! Comfortable cushions on the wall seats, which are along all walls, the bright colours were a great contrast against the darker tables and floor. Food was on point, we got the coban meze platter and the beef moussaka to share between 2. We were stuffed, and couldn't fit the last couple of pieces of bread. The highlight for me was the tabbouleh that came with the moussaka, I would eat that all day.
A group of us dined here for dinner. Friendly service and nice atmosphere. Wheelchair accessible with toilets to the rear. I had a chicken iskender and it was delicious, well cooked rice and fresh tasty red cabbage, carrot and lettuce which complimented each other. Couldn't resist washing it all down with a yummy baklava dessert.
Tasty food in unassuming surroundings. The ingredients were fresh and the menu offered a large range of options.
Delicious iskenders and kebabs among other things. Ample portions and the food is very fresh. Especially noticeable on the salad. Very friendly staff and excellent customer service. Our new favourite restaurant in Hamilton.
Walked in at 1.40 to be greeted with “the kitchen is closing soon”. I said ok when is that?, 2pm he said so 20minutes. Sit down, waitress taking her time so we go up to counter to order. 2 chicken lunchtime kebabs. Waitress brings out the wrong order, 1 lamb and 1 chicken. Asks if we still want it? Of course not, if i wanted lamb i wouldve ordered lamb? Chips were overcooked almost as if they have recooked old chips. Kebab stuff up order comes out and i start eating, theres a hair in it ‍ This visit clearly wasnt working. Hence the 2 stars
Great customer service and delicious food. We didn't have a booking but they were very accommodating, and managed to get us a table. They were also aware that we had a comedy show to get to and ensured we had our food in time. Would highly recommend, was a good experience!
The food was very delicious and service was great. Nancy brought the food to us and she was very friendly. I recommend this place if you’re visiting Hamilton. I will definitely come back next time.
Excellent experience and wonderful meal. Really large servings and delicious food. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. You can see the people really pour into the place due to its very good reputation.
Let's get the bad bit out of the way, it's never ok to serve someone there main meal while their still eating their starter. Now the positive, fantastic, fresh, tasty food that would take a lot of beating, and very good value for money. Definitely a recommended restaurant for Hamilton.Food: 5/5
