Kia ora, and welcome to the new Awatuna Playcentre facebook page. This page will be used to inform families/whanau and the wider community about up-coming events at Playcentre and to showcase all the FUN that the children have here at Awatuna Playcentre.

We had my 3yr old’s birthday party here today the staff were great, very helpful. The children loved it, they had so much fun, it wasn’t too busy. The party room was perfect, the food was great, everyone had a fantastic time. All my friends were impressed, I would definitely recommend. Thanks again, we will definitely be having another party here!
Booked a party here, never again ! They give you a two hour slot at £19.50 per child. Sounds like a good deal except it’s not because there’s barely any effort put into the party. We were given an empty private room with just a table and some plates. No decorations at all. One balloon costs £10 which is ridiculous. During the party, I had to keep asking for the food they had included in the package, there was no attendant to the private room so couldn’t sort music out until much later. For the price paid I expected some type of hosting from the staff but they completely stayed away from the room. Only food was offered was fish fingers, nuggets and chips and some dry cheese sandwiches. No snacks ! The juice provided was just disappointing squash, at least some juice boxes. Only help we got was asking to cut the cake. I’ll say, if it’s a day out for the kids then yes £6 is decent for entry but I wouldn’t advice anyone to have a party here. I’d suggest they have some tokens for the party attendants to use the games and cars at the place instead of paying extra to use all the facilities. Actual decorations, even a banner would be appreciated for the party. Cake stands. That kind of thing otherwise you’d have to bring everything which might as well have a party at home instead of carrying decor everywhere.
We celebrate our twins birthday yesterday at KidzKlub eltham. I didn't knew what to expect , and this place really blown my mind . Really friendly and caring staff members. Unlimited drinks for kids and amount of food they serve was beyond. Worth every penny. Thank you so much for making our girls so special. We will be back next year. Highly recommended
Great was here for a birthday, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The place was perfect for my toddler. He could run free, and we could keep an eye on him without worrying. Was eater Sunday and the staff were happy to be their, that is very unusual. Well done team.. only know Stevie as we have the same name but all great.
Absolutely disappointing for private parties, better off having a party at home and saving your money. Money hungry place, £19.50 per child for 15 kids but couldn’t even spare any crisps for snacks. Couldn’t have spend more than £10 on “warm food “ package. No staff help offered or hosting. Definitely all about the money, such a shame
While the children are having fun in the playgrounds, you can wait in the resting areas and have a hot or cold drink.
I had my daughter's birthday party here, the staff are lovely and they were very understanding when I had to change/delay the date of the party twice because my daughter broke her ankle. I had fab feedback from the other parents that their child had had a great time. The staff were on hand to assist if I needed more food/drink for the children, they couldn't be any more helpful. 10/10
It was ok. Excellent to let the kids spend energy, although there was very little for the under two's to do, and they still need to pay! Also, the space for go Kart is so small that it's hardly fair to pay £1 for the drive. It can be cramped, with no chair to sit and lots of birthdays. You get 2 hours parking, which is a plus. I'm not sure if I would come back.
We had a great birthday party for my 4 year old here, very friendly staff and the children had lots of fun. Easy to book and clear communication. Thank you!
