I read several negative comments about long waiting times, difficulty finding the lab, and trouble with blood collection. In my case, it was completely the opposite.nnI came in on October 17, 2025, at 7:30 a.m. I waited about five minutes at reception before being called in for my tests. While I was waiting, at least three other people arrived. The lady who took my blood had no trouble finding a vein, and I was done in less than five minutes.nnIt was quick, easy, and completely hassle-free.nnAs for the location, I did have a little difficulty at first, but nothing major. I went to the door of The Doctor and saw a sign saying the lab was next to Bayleys. It would definitely help to have a sign out front, but it’s not really an inconvenience.nnAll in all, the service was excellent.nnThank you very much!
Apparently unable to tell the time. I turned up at 2:40 to drop off a sample and place was closed up. Sure it's only 5 minutes, but closing and locking up before your advertised hours is beyond unprofessional. I'll never patronize any business that conducts itself like this, staff need a reminder of professional conduct.
We, mum and I, have had a hassle free experience. Tremendous Awanui Labs, endeavouring to serve the community well.
This lab is extremely, unhygienicly dirty. I have seen the same dirt months after months everytime I go there.nPlease clean this place.
I have a family member that attended here for bloods and had a very nasty experience with a lady who was very aggressive at taking bloods and had left huge bruises.nEven if you are having a bad day or don't like your customer for some reason you have a job to do and need to be respectful to all. This is your job especially when you are injecting needles into people.nWait times are exactly as these reviews state. Terrible, please get more staff on board.
