Cemetery is beautiful visited my Paps & uncle my Paps is looking over my uncle the both of them were easily found.nOnly disappointment was the signage to the Cemetery was hidden behind branches so it was hard to find as a visitor from Gisborne, Aunty Siri took us 2 houses ahead of the cemetery couldn't find it due to the little yellow signage hidden behind the branches. Once we found the Cemetery I was blown away so peaceful & beautiful.
One parent and grandparents buried at Te Henui and other parent and grandmother at Awanui sorry Te Henui is amazingly tidy and peaceful.nDisappointed with Awanui messy plots rats ....major tidy up always. I come from Akl to do the tidy up regularly. Very sad and disappointing.
The respect shown to the dead by New Plymouth Council is an example for all New Zealand. An amazingly beautiful place
Very clean and tidy and the gardens and lawns are kept very tidy. A beautiful view of the mountain and sea from my loved one's resting place.
