Awa Whanui Big River FM is a Community Radio Station deep in the heart of Northlands stunning west coast, in the Kaipara District. The station is situated in Dargaville, an awesome small town that serves local dairy, beef, sheep, kumara farmers, and forestry plus an array of different businesses.
Big River FM is a small operation with a big heart serving the needs of our community and the Kaipara area. Offering the extremely popular Sportszone every Friday morning between 8am and 9am as well as a wide range of specialist shows every weekday night and weekends, the radio station tries to please the communities interest as effectively as possible.
Enjoy our unique community flavor and variety and join us 25 hours a day, 8 days a week!!!
