Won't ever use Avis again. I called early on the day of my scheduled car hire to confirm a gps/sat navigation was included in my chosen car. Was told it was and,if any problems,they'd call me back. No call back. I again checked when I arrived at almost 9pm to collect the car,told it was included and that they'd still be there if any problems.i sprinted back to their office to say there was no gps but they'd already locked up. I called their after hours number,got their manager to get the staff member to drive back to the airport,eventually received a gps unit that didn't work and,you've guessed it,the same staff member had already sped off without confirmation that the gps was working. Just the worst. Especially with a young child in tow,last thing you need.
