Aura Aviary

Didn't know this museum has been here so well presented and people can learn about proud NZ naval history.

For who wants to learn a little bit more of NZ Navy history, this place will give you a lot of information. There's also a free car park, a nice small NZ Navy shop, a lovely coffee shop, a nice sea view and a playground for kids to play. Since everywhere is flat, it's very easy for disable people access.

This might be bias as I have a soft spot for museums. But my kids loved it and there is lots to see about NZ maritime history. A nice walk from the ferry.

Cafe review only: food was excellent, and great view back across the harbour. Some persistent sparrows, but otherwise a really pleasant experience. Really wanted to try the tiramisu cake they had in the cabinet but controlled myself.

A great place to visit. Great history from around the world and children would enjoy.

Great place to take Grandchildren to learn about the Navy in a fun way with quizzes, being able to touch some of the displays and play on the playground outside! A wonderful scenic place to go have coffee after looking around the Museum! The staff are really helpful and friendly!

Very nice.Second visit now.The sparrows are abit of a nuisance but the food and service was great.Eggs Benedict yum!!
