The Auckland WheelStarz is a Junior Wheelchair Basketball Club offering regular trainings and competition for young people with physical disabilities
Established in 2013, the Auckland WheelStarz is New Zealand's pioneer Junior Wheelchair Basketball club. We offer regular trainings and competition (February to September) to meet the physical and social needs of young people ages 10-22 years with physical disabilities.
We are inclusive and also invite those without disabilities to enjoy the thrilling game of Wheelchair Basketball.
We are Auckland based and invite interested players from all over the Auckland area.
Currently our trainings are:
Thursdays 6-8pm at Trusts Arena in Henderson
Saturdays 9-12pm at the Auckland Spinal Unit in Otara
It is FREE to participate
