Had an after wedding event here and it was fantastic! Trevor looked after all of us so well and made sure that everything ran smoothly! Highly recommend for any event!

Went for St. Paddies day, mainly to visit friends who had a Latino food stall. The venue was spacious and pleasant. Fenced areas for kids, and nice greenery. Pretty nice space.

Was here for the first time for a quiz night. Sound was a slight issue as there's only a curtain separating the public bar and the quiz area - couldn't say this was the reason for us losing though!! But alas it was a good time regardless and the staff were nice. Interesting location. The building appeared to be connected to the lawn bowls club. Could be a potential venue for the next work Christmas event or any event really. Kitchen was very slow and only one staff member knew how to operate the EFTPOS machine. Menu items sold out quite swiftly so missed out on the Guinness stew for dinner so had to settle for nuggets and chips. The menu isn't huge so get in quick if you need a meal. Not sure if the club is informed of when events happen so that catering can be managed accordingly but overall fine for a Friday night quiz.

Great place for group get together and small party. Has nice law outside, and good view on both side. Limited parking space though.

Beers cold and they are having roast dinners on Sunday. Start from 4:30pm with families.

It's one off the old places in Auckland that stayed the seam great place to visit family / lovers / dog it's all good there and please everyone remember to be Green Kiwi and leave only your footprint there thanks

Barry the manager of the site, is a great host. Absolutely looked after us on our passing through as myself and John Wayne were going blow for blow on our passing rumble through the village. Thank you Mr Fitzgerald again for ensuring pints of Guinness were always available. Mr Wayne may have gotten the upper hand but at least you provided some comic relief. It was either Barry or Trevor. I can't remember my boots are soaking. Photo of our excellent host provided.
