Operates concrete crusher next to Kumeu river.in an ecologically significant area, stock piling toxic exposed crushed concrete next to the Kumeu river & a stream located in flood plain. Also tortures local elderly residents with this noisy concrete crusher located within 100m of housing. This toxic as asbestos material drys out and blows around our community, into the river and kills trees on the opposite side of the river!. All you people who think they are so great, would you feel the same if your elderly relatives or friends were being subjected to this? Yes Atlas has been on site a long time. Most residents were here before the concrete crusher. Auckland Council is an enabler as this is light industry zoning and permit claims to be a temporary crusher. Atlas, if are environmentally minded as you claim, please move your crusher and huge rubble piles away from our river and community centre and I will be happy to remove my review,
Two of their drivers damaged two parts my private road. One driver caused deep ruts in my road because he didn’t follow instructions. The other driver ran off the road completely into a deep ditch and the concrete truck was stuck and almost on its side. This held up the other concrete trucks because they couldn’t get past it to get to my site. The concrete layers I had booked then walked off the job because of the delays to the trucks which meant the team had insufficient concrete and couldn’t finish their job. This terrible shamozzle was caused by the Atlas drivers’ terrible, irresponsible and careless driving. I had to pay for another concrete company to come back and finish the job later and pay for the layers and cutters to return. Atlas didn’t want to know and their management have never responded to my photographs and detailed written complaint. They have a bad reputation from people I’ve spoken to and I can see why. Steer clear! They don’t care about their customers at all in my experience, nor for any damage they cause to other people’s property.

I ordered 7.0m3 of ready mix saying the concrete will be unloaded by wheel barrow and not to deliver the tow trailer loads close together.nDespite this both trucks arrived within 45 minutes of each other. The second truck waited around while the first was being unloaded, eventually saying that he had to take the concrete back to the plant.nI was charged for both loads of concrete and despite requesting a refund was less than politely told no and that I was lucky not to be charged for the second trucks waiting time.nThere is high demand for concrete so Atlas believe they can treat customers badly. I need a second load of concrete but not from Atlas who I will recommend to everyone I can not to use.
Your trucks are always pulling out in front of cars on the main highway with the expectation they will stop. Does my head in, your driver's are inconsiderate and a menace.
