Stopped by for a much needed feed with a few fans. It wasn’t too busy. We ordered pizza, a chicken burger and the fish and chips and were not disappointed. Possibly the BEST Chicken burger that I have ever had and refills on our cokes. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the Main Street of the Mount. Highly recommended.
Had the opportunity to check out this place tonight, Cool atmosphere with a couple of different areas which made it a fun place to be. The food was yummy but I myself wasn't a fan of the Nachos however my brother enjoyed that dish. Good customer service when we arrived and ordered our meals and drinks, the waitress who served our food was abit rude but hey that's only because I like my servers to interact with us as customers . However, I would definitely go back again as it's Halloween and they were probably just busy. Thank you.
This Saturday we visited Astrolabe for a family dinner, and it was an amazing experience! I absolutely loved the food and their winter cocktails.nnSome standout dishes for me were the Turkish lamb salad and Korean fried chicken. I also LOVED their massive goblet of brandied mulled wine and the chocolate peanut butter martini — all packed with flavour and beautifully presented.nnThe only dish I didn’t enjoy as much was the pizza, as the dough was quite thick and it had a lot of sauce — just not my preferred style.nnThe atmosphere was super cosy, and I especially loved the little fireplace — it made the whole experience feel warm and inviting.
I found the food and drink were very average and one person had to replace their burger as the chicken patty was burnt. My husband's lemon lime and bitters drink was very bland too. The hot chips were at least decent, and the staff were friendly, so that's something. The decor and vibe is kind of cool too, making it a good place to hang out for a beer or cocktail if you don't mind loud music.
I was thoroughly impressed by my experience at Astrolabe. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was incredibly fast. Despite the restaurant being busy, our drinks arrived almost immediately and the food followed shortly after, hot and fresh. It’s rare to find a place that balances high-quality flavors with such impressive efficiency.n​I highly recommend the Korean Chicken—it was flavorful and perfectly prepared. If you're looking for a fantastic meal without the long wait, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be returning!
