Purchased a foil from Assault just over a year ago and have had some manufacture issues with it. The team at Assault dealt with the issues in a very professional manner, dealing with the manufacture and securing replacement warranty parts. All while making sure I had minimal time off the water. Cheers!!!
Have had a great experience with Assault! I wasn't able to get to the shop, so emailed them and they communicated fast and clearly. I had an idea of what sort of board I needed and wanted, but wanted an expert opinion. Glenn gave me some great insight and advised me on a board and setup that would suit what I wanted. If you're after great service and advice, i'd get in touch.
I would 100% recommend to deal with them. I bought 3 second hand kites from them over the phone as I am based in the south island. Great customer contact with Glenn and his team both before and after the sale. They were able to provide clear and considerate advice without being pushy. I got 3 kites second hand from them and got them delivered to Christchurch. They were available to answer any question I had after the sales and helped me to get started on my kite journey. Thanks heaps for your support guys, you made a real difference ! Cheers
Impeccable after sale-service. I purchased an item difficult to find in Auckland and the ABC crew organized the sale, shipping, and replacement of a defective item fast and efficiently.
Our instructor, Eva, was fantastic for our first ever SUP lesson! Had alot of fun, learned alot in a short amount of time, and we can't wait to do it again! Thanks Assault for the wonderful service and great experience. Look forward to renting from you soon!
Assault has a really extensive range at fair prices. The staff are all super friendly and truly passionate about water sports. Many years of experience and a genuine devotion to happy customers using the right gear makes for excellent advice. Glen and the team truly share the stoke and love to see progression in the riders and the sports. I've always been a notorious bargain hunter, but these days most of the time I just go see Glen. I'd rather just get the right gear at a fair price, and have the reassurance of after-sales support if I ever need it.
Popped in looking to upgrade from my learner board to something a little more capable. Busy place! Was worth waiting to be served as knowledge and willingness to share tips and tricks is second to none. Very impressed with the service. Thanks guys!
Recommend these guys. Updated my SUP surf paddle this week and got the usual bang-on advice from the very experienced and knowledgeable Assault team - I ended up with a different paddle to the one i originally intended to buy, which turned out to be much better suited to me. Paddle was cut to size while i waited. Thanks again.
