Enjoyed our one night stay. Our one bedroom unit was spacious, very clean and well appointed Unfortunately the beds were FAR TOO SOFT, more suited to light weights and not heavier people
Have always driven past on my mini travels and wanted to stay. After a few days in Auckland my wife and I decided to stay here the night on our drive back to Wellington to have a good break. We weren’t gonna get in until 10 pm and the hosts lovingly turned on the heat pump to make sure that when we got in late our room was nice and warm. Good old school customer service. Looking forward to staying here again.
Stayed here while attending a family function.nRoom was exellent, clean, warm and quiet. We ataying in the one bedroom unit that sleeps 4.nShower was nice and hard. Unit.has a.spa bath.nHuge lounge area with a queen bed. Very comfortable. I would rexommending

Ratings based on expected value for the price, stayed in a studio room with shower. The rooms were spacious, very clean and neat with decent facilities. The glass front door lets in a lot of light though and the outside lights are on all night, so if you like a dark room to sleep, take that into account. The bed was clean and comfortable, but very soft and bouncy I prefer a firmer mattress, generally, unless.... The kitchen was clean and well equipped for 2-3 peoplennMy room was close to the main highway and road was noisy despite some other comments indicating not. Closing all the windows helped quite a lot, and together with the white noise from the air-conditioning, I was able to have a decent night's sleep.nnOverall, I'd recommend Aspen as good value for money. My main criteria are cleanliness and a good bed. Excelled on the cleanliness, adequate on the bed comfort mostly due to personal preferences. The photos on the site are a good and accurate reflection of the room.
