Sadly I would rather not review. I didn't want to embarrassed you guys but if you really want to know I found a large blowfly in my bottle of Aloe Vera drink. Rather off putting. Obviously not your fault. Probably found its way in at source.
Not a good spot for shopping at all, not only because of the high markup products, the shop attendants are also rude to customer. Reply to the owner of the shop: I didn’t really want to mention that you are selling products that extremely beyond it’s best-before date, because I didn’t want waste my time, but since you’re such dishonest seller, I have changed my mind. Although it is legal to sell over best-before date food in NZ, but that doesn’t meant you can sell food that expired 6 months of it’s best-before date. The production date on that product is 06/11/2020, I had show it to you, so stop lying please. I haven’t noticed the shelf life for those drinks were only 9 months, so they are about 6 months beyond their best-before date, I had only noticed something wrong after I tasted it, of course I wouldn’t like it because it’s smells and tastes terrible. I bought 3 of those, I dump the one I opened, took the other two back to you for refund, however you were not even happy to refund those two for me, and eventually you have only refund two bottles after I insisted. The words on the small sticker are incredibly small, there is no customer will search for small shelf life dates on every product on the shelves, it is your responsibility to make sure the food you’re selling is within reasonable expired dates. You are the first and only retailer that I have ever met in NZ that doing such ridiculous things and at mean time deny it at front of your customer with a bad attitude! I suggest other customers don’t go to your shop not only because of your high markup products, also because of your bad customer service and dishonest on your business.
When I ask to staff to find some goods, they were kind and helpful. They have many kinds of Korea, China, Philippine and other Asian goods. Good shop with a reasonable price :
The owner was pretty rude to my friend and I when we were wondering around the shop and discussing what we were gonna cook because of the limit stuff they sell compared other cities. She interrupted us several times and advised us to go to the supermarket nearby. When I ask if she was ready to close because of the public holiday and she said no. But she seemed not really welcome us and want us leave as soon as possible.
I finaly managed to stop in here, as missing asian food, I knew what I wanted, and the girl behind the counter was very helpful. Being in Southland I didn't expect the same range as in other places in NZ. I'll be back, frozen dumplings were great.
We'v been here lots of times,because we love asian food, and you can get lots of asian goods here, the price is valuable, even that's cheaper than Queenstown. We recommend here for everyone. By the way, the staffs here is friendly and helpful.
Great shop. I can find any Asian food I need in there. People in there are also friendly and helpful. Excellent shopping experience. Highly recommend if you are thinking any exotic food for meal.
Can't wait to stock up on more Asian spices.
